We are a mom and dad, and we homeschool our three children — ten, eight and four.
When it was time to teach them to read and count, we could not find books that felt right. Too dry, too scattered, or too much work to piece together every evening. Most of all, they did not make our kids want to learn.
So we made our own: pages that teach through play — the kind our children kept asking for. By day we build software; at home, these books are how we teach.

What printer do I need?
Any home printer. Every book comes as a PDF in two sizes, US Letter and A4 — pick the one your printer uses. Color makes the pages brighter, but almost every page works in black and white too.
Will it use a lot of ink?
You print a few pages at a time — only the week you are on, never the whole book at once. Printing in grayscale saves even more.
Can I use it with more than one child?
Yes. Print as many copies as you need for the children you teach — your own family, or a class or co-op group you run.
What age is it for?
Ages 3 to 7 — from PreK through kindergarten and into first grade. Each book's page says the ages it is written for.
How do I get the books?
